Wyoming Association of PAs Annual CME Conference

The Wyoming Association of PAs (WAPA) was founded in 1975 to promote the ideals of the PA profession on both the state and national level. WAPA is a constituent chapter of the American Academy of PAs. Join WAPA for their 32nd Annual CME Conference and the first ever WAPA fundraising golf tournament! This event will have plenty of fun for everyone, as there will be a picnic and BBQ, pool party, family games on Friday night, and more!

32nd Annual WAPA Conference

The 32nd Annual WAPA Conference, "Spanning the Spectrum of Medicine in the Rocky Mountain Region" is planned for August 2-5 in Cheyenne Wyoming.

  • 1st ever scholarship fundraiser Golf Tournament (August 2) 
  • Breakout Suture class
  • Estimated 20 hours of CME (pending approval)
  • Discussion on current and future PA practice
  • Relax and network with PAs and other providers from around the area
  • Don't forget about Little America's room reservation! Special room rates only through June.
  • Great opportunity for networking and meeting with other PAs from across Wyoming and the region.
  • 1st ever WAPA Golf Tournament fundraiser, prizes for closest hole-in-one, longest drive, and winning team.

Lots of fun for everyone, including families as there will be a picnic with bar-b-que, pool party, and family games on Friday night, along a great keynote speaker to be announced as the event approaches during the Saturday night Banquet and Awards Dinner. PA/Physician Team of the Year and PA of the Year will be announced, as well as WAPA Scholarship winners at the Saturday Banquet/Keynote speaker event.

Many fun topics will be presented at the conference, including a hands-on suture workshop and other lectures ranging from pediatrics, hematology, sleep disorders, dermatology, ethics, travel medicine/infectious disease, holistic medicine, optometry, and mental health topics that are encountered by practitioners across the Rocky Mountain Region. There will be discussion on AAPA's Optimal Practice policy.
